Fansided released their Mt. Rushmores for every franchise. Here is the Mt. Rushmore for the Thunder (in combination with the Sonics).

Steven Adams and Kyle Singler hosted a fitness clinic at a local Oklahoma City middle school: “Delivering the message of leading an active and healthy lifestyle, the Thunder front court tandem tipped off the season’s first Thunder Fit Clinic, presented by Homeland. Feeding off the day’s excitement, Adams barked instructions intoning the cadence of a drill sergeant with a touch of playfulness as his motivated young cohort try to conquer the agility ladder at the cardio station.”

Russell Westbrook hung out with Canelo Alvarez after his controversial draw Saturday night.

Dontaira Terrell (HuffPost) interviewed Russell Westbrook about his fashion sense: “I definitely stay away from trends because I like to create my own [trends] and move in that direction. I also gain inspiration from a variety of things. If you stop and take a minute to look at the world around you from all aspects, the world itself is a source of inspiration on a wide range scale from traveling to viewing different types of art.”

Michael Shapiro (Sports Illustrated) says the Thunder are one of four teams on the brink of a rebuild: “George’s L.A. ambitions have been known for some time now. They can be at least partly to blame for the $500,000 hole currently burning in Magic Johnson’s wallet. So unless Oklahoma City sprints to the Finals or gives the Warriors a serious run for their money, it’s hard envisioning George signing on to play out the rest of his 20’s with the Thunder. Losing George wouldn’t be destructive to OKC’s long-term plans. The organization has been bracing for his exit ever since acquiring the four-time All-Star in early July. Losing Westbrook, however, would be catastrophic.”

Kevin Durant needs to let it go: “The answer used to be to silence critics who could not see 2 + 2 without wanting it to be 7. Now, though, it seems to be to demonstrate that his skin is probably thinner than it needs to be. Maybe this is just him muscle-flexing after years of being quiet. Maybe this is him falling in love with the sight, sound and feel of his own thoughts. Maybe he has a lot more resentment about the hysterical reaction to this move thing than he ever let on.”
